Proving himself fierce and canny enough to escape, unfortunately, only marked him as a budding warrior worth the effort of acquisition, and the problem got infinitely worse as asudai got older. at that point, kidnapping Asudai and attempting to convince him to join their clan became something of a tradition amongst the easily enamored younger members of the Buduga; subsequently, escaping ropes and picking locks became something of a hobby for Asudai, and so things have remained ever since.

reunion resident: even outside his notoriety with the buduga, asudai is a recognizable presence to both xaela and travelers that frequent reunion. his father luvsan is a popular cook, and asudai often helps prepare and sell his wares.beauty of the steppe: residing in a major trading hub means that information about an uncommonly beautiful xaela man with striking coloration has, on occasion, reached ears beyond even the steppe--specifically the ruby sea and kugane.
